Iridescent finishes briefed by the APLM inspired this collection. I found a beautiful foil leather perfectly aligned with the brief. Unfortunately, the sampled shoe was far above the target FOB. I developed a synthetic leather with another supplier for a similar look.

We kept the inline material for the vamp. We updated the instep material for a less aggressive mesh. The heel material is the same as the Forge RC IRD. Shoes in a collection need matching materials as well as unique details like the sparkle vamp no-sew film.

By updating fewer details to novelty collections on price point level products, we can target the same consumer. The Skylar kept its inline vamp material because the material looked great in white. The heel material has the same finish as the Forge 96 IRD.

 Connectivity between the shoes helps carry the story to the consumer. The rainbow pattern sublimated on the heel overlay material connects to the midsole wrap on the Phantom SE.  Changing the vamp spacer-mesh to a new pattern created a puffy cloudy

 The original inline Phantom SE has a stretch warp spacer knit in the vamp.  I considered the stretch and thickness of the material update so as not to impact fit. I recommended the cloud-like vamp material because it matched physical properties and
